This Black Templars force consists of 6 Bladeguard Veterans painted to Level 2 alongside High Marshal Helbrecht painted to Level 3. The project combines a clean tabletop-ready force with a centerpiece character that draws attention without looking out of place among the rest of the army.

The Bladeguard Veterans follow the iconic Black Templars color scheme, featuring deep black power armor contrasted by crisp white shoulder pads. Warm bronze and gold metallics on the chest aquilas, icons and decorative details create a strong contrast against the dark armor, while rich red weapon casings and purity seals introduce vibrant accents throughout the squad. The armor is finished with clean edge highlights that define every panel while maintaining a smooth, understated appearance suitable for a crusading force.

High Marshal Helbrecht receives significantly more attention, showcasing numerous advanced painting techniques expected from our Level 3 service. His ornate bronze armor is carefully shaded and highlighted to emphasize the intricate sculpt, while the flowing black and red cloak, illuminated lantern, decorative chains and relics all receive individual attention. The silver sword features smooth metallic transitions, and the miniature is filled with finely painted details that make it a natural centerpiece for any Black Templars collection.

The entire force is finished on matching scenic bases featuring cracked grey earth, scattered rocks, dry grass tufts and dark crimson vegetation. These muted, war-torn bases complement the black armor perfectly while allowing the bronze trim and red details to stand out. Together they create a cohesive army with a strong crusader aesthetic that remains unmistakably Black Templars.
