Bloodborne Hunter
“May the good blood guide your way.”
This Bloodborne Hunter miniature was painted to our highest quality standard, Level 4, staying faithful to the game’s unmistakable gothic aesthetic while introducing a few carefully chosen changes to improve readability. The overall palette remains dark and restrained, but key details have been pushed with stronger contrast so they remain visible without losing the atmosphere that makes Bloodborne so distinctive.
Rather than blending into the surrounding blacks and greys, the hunter’s leather straps and the wraps around the saw cleaver have been painted in warm orange tones. These accents naturally guide the eye across the miniature while still feeling at home in the streets of Yharnam. The weapon itself features worn metallics, clean edge highlights, and subtle weathering that suggest years of use against beasts far larger than any hunter should reasonably face.
The cobblestone base tells its own story. Small candles illuminate the ground with a soft yellow glow, their light spilling onto the hunter’s boots through carefully painted object source lighting (OSL). It’s an understated effect, but one that gives the miniature the feeling of standing in one of Yharnam’s forgotten alleys, where every shadow could be hiding another nightmare. After all, the night is long… and there is always another hunt waiting.
Different materials have been painted with their own distinct finish, allowing the leather, cloth, metal, and stone to remain clearly readable despite the subdued palette. Smooth hand-painted transitions and controlled highlights keep the model cohesive without sacrificing contrast. The result is a faithful interpretation of Bloodborne’s art direction, one that feels as though it could have stepped directly out of the game.
As Gehrman would say, a hunter must hunt. Thankfully, this one made a quick stop at our studio before returning to the Dream.
