This squad of Word Bearers Ashen Circle was painted to our Level 1 tabletop standard, focusing on a clean, cohesive finish that’s ready for the battlefield. The miniatures follow the iconic Word Bearers color scheme, with deep crimson-purple armor contrasted by black secondary elements, aged brass trim, and metallic weapons.

Although painted as a tabletop-quality project, each model remains crisp and clearly readable. The brass details help break up the darker armor, while simple edge highlights add definition without pushing the models beyond the intended painting level. The jump packs, chainaxes, flamers, and distinctive Ashen Circle equipment all retain their character while keeping the army visually consistent.

The bases are finished with neutral grey rubble and scattered debris, creating a battlefield setting that complements the darker palette without drawing attention away from the miniatures themselves.
